Summer Reading List? ? ? . . .
oomph's Summer Reading List:
THE THREE MARTINI PLAYDATE is a go-to reference book for the busy Mom. It has invaluable information on how to relax and enjoy your children this summer. In addition to child rearing tips, there are recipes for adult lemonade and of course . . . the martini. Naturally, you will need some basics like a shaker, and the essential piece of equipment, the `tini IV table! Stylish wisdom to be gained from such a small book and an accent table.
And last but not least... IF YOU GIVE A MOM A MARTINI. . . with a forward by Christie Brinkley??? And you thought all she did was endorse exercise equipment! Be careful driving that stroller!

Washington should have slept here . . .
Sally Steponkus Interiors designed the Master Bedroom for the DC Design House this Spring and we love it for many reasons! First of all - who wouldn't love to wake up in this gorgeous bedroom? We think the bedside tables are of course the most outstanding feature. These handsome Edgartown rectangular end tables in creme and white-washed raffia are show stoppers. Sally - we applaud you.

Tobi Fairley's Top 10 Coffee Tables . . .
Everyone knows Tobi Fairley was selected as "One of the Top 20 Young Designer's in the Country" by Traditional Home last year. That is why we are particularly excited that she selected oomph's ESSEX contemporary wood coffee table as one of the top 10!!! We think she has impeccable taste!

Current Obsession: the `tini table . . .
Fuse Design Studio has a "current obsession: the `tini table!" We are fairly sure they are not alone! They claim to be "completely enamored with this stylish little table. With a multitude of finish options and combinations, the `tini table would be the perfect accent for any space large or small, traditional or modern." They have seen the light!

"I Love oomph" photo...
Every once in a while, an unsolicited picture is sent to us showing a home that has been recently oomphed. Today's picture simply stated "I love oomph". That made us smile because we really know each table that crosses our threshold and makes it's way out into the world. This time we knew the`tini IV in Club Navy went to NYC as a wedding present to a fashion-wise young couple. Deb and Peter, oomph wishes you much happiness, always. . .

Trovare Home Event . . .
Trovare Home held an event for the Garden Education Center of Greenwich, Connecticut on May 13. oomph was an important element in the evening and everyone loved our colors - much like a colorful garden of pillows and tables.

Sea of Turquoise...
Is there a color out there that reflects summer better than turquoise? We picture the water in the Bahamas or the pool out back glistening - all our favorite places to sit and reflect on the day's activities. Maybe that's why we love turquoise so much and think about it as one of our happiest colors. We use it on everything oomph - pillows, tables and chairs ~ Everything Turquoise approves!

We love Annechovies...
"GOTTA GET OOMPH! Lately, I've been spotting these hip little side and coffee tables everywhere. After a little curiosity-driven search, I found the source. OOMPH. A great name that's perfect for what these pieces inject into a room!"
Another great posting on a blog - this time it's Annechovie the creative design blog. Nothing is more fun for us than to follow the buzz. We just love all the attention! Thank you, Anne!

Cuckoo for coco + kelly
Once again, we have been honored by a blogger and we love it! We particularly like what coco + kelly has to say and we find Cassandra's observations quite sensible. "...every seat in the house should have a little table next to it reserved especially for your martini (dirty... with extra olives, please)..." She is quite right!

And the beat goes on...
Stylebeat, one of our very favorite blogs, featured our stylish oomph slipper chair this morning. Marisa is an arbiter of all things chic so we are thrilled when she selects us and gives us top billing on her blog post. Thank you Marisa - a shout out from the oomphettes!
oomph loves Salvatore!
The newest Ferragamo ballet flats look like they tip-toed through the oomph factory and came out in our table combinations! We love the look and picture ourselves shopping on the Riviera or stepping off the Spanish Steps in Rome. We may have to just settle for wearing ours in the presence of our favorite table combinations - Natural raffia and Club Navy, Waterfall, and Fireworks!

Tracker Home in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, has recently opened it's doors and oomph is the hottest thing flying out! We are so excited to be on the Vineyard just as the season is about to get underway. We understand that oomph has already made a splash and is sprucing up many an island home. A Match Made in Heaven...
Sometimes we just feel so lucky! We stumbled upon our best dressed `tinis in the window of Quadrille, our FAVORITE fabric house in New York's D & D Building this week. Our accent tables are keeping company with Quadrille's newest fabric (and our favorite totes!) oomph thinks there is a real synergy between the two of us - no pun intended.
These designer end tables are both shown in Van Dyke Brown with custom China Seas tops. Only thing missing on this blind date of oomph and Quadrille is . . . the martini - shaken, not stirred.

Da Monsta...
On a recent tour of the grounds and buildings of Philip Johnson's Glass House property in New Canaan, CT, the structure at the gate, Da Monsta, caught my eye. As it had color so much like my new tini II, I couldn't resist juxtaposing them on the blog. This `tini is in our gorgeous "Bolero" red with a fabulous brown "ostrich" surface. Mr Johnson must have thought it was a wonderful combination as well to have painted this important first glimpse through the gate of his property in these rich tones.
